Thank you!

We celebrated our Patronal Feast and the 25th anniversary of the founding of All-Merciful Saviour Monastery on Sunday. For those of you who may not have seen these photos because of Sunday obligations, I am posting them a second time (along with a few additional photos). Tomorrow I will return to offering a short essay, as well as the saints of the day and scripture readings according to the Church Calendar.

I wish to thank all of you who attended the Monastery Pilgrimage. Your generous donations of food and money were appreciated, as were the thoughtful messages and phone calls we received from a number of bishops and numerous clergy.

It is most gratifying for us as an English language monastery to know we have support that transcends ethnic and jurisdictional borders. You, in your kindness, have proven the biblical truth that in the Church we are all members of one nation, the Body of Christ.

Lastly, we ask God's blessings upon all our benefactors and friends. Please know that you are all dear to us and that you will continue to be in our prayers.

With love in the All-Merciful Saviour,
Abbot Tryphon

  1. Glad to see the pictures of Hammi. We are currently posted to Chisinau, Moldova, but are retiring and moving shortly to the Seattle area. My husband is deeply desiring to meet "the two furry gentlemen" so we will soon be visiting you. So between prayers I am sure Hammi will get a few wayward adoring looks.
