On this, the Eve of the New Year, I want to greet all of you in the Name that is above all names, Our Lord Jesus Christ. May this very Christ reign in our lives throughout this coming year, and may His Name be glorified in our daily living, and in every word we utter. Let those who see us, see Him.
May this New Year bring forth prosperity, and peace, for our world, not so much of the world, but within the hearts of humankind. My we all remember the poor, both in our charity, but also in our prayers. May we learn to love those who hate us, knowing that with Christ's help, this is possible, and, in fact, necessary, for Our Lord commanded us to do so.
And, finally, I want to thank all of you who have supported this monastery, both financially, and in the generosity of your labor. Most importantly, I want to thank you for your loving prayers of intercession.
May God bless us all!

And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.” Jesus Forbids Sectarianism
38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”39 But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is on our side. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.
